WHAT IS THE PTFA?

The Parent, Teacher & Friends Association

We are a group of parents, grandparents and friends who work together with the staff to organise fantastic fundraising events to raise money for the school. The funds raised help provide any ‘extras’ not already provided by the school’s main income with the primary aim of improving the school environment including the wellbeing of pupils and staff. Every penny we raise goes straight back into the school and is spent on
something for the children.

HOW OFTEN ARE THE MEETINGS?

The annual AGM is held in September and maps out our plans for the year. Meetings are then held on an
ad-hoc basis as we arrange the various events.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I HAVE TO GIVE?

As much or as little as you can spare and would like to. You don’t need to attend every meeting or event. Every little helps!

WHAT CAN I DO?

The only reason our PTFA is so successful is because we are totally supported by the parents, staff and children at St John Fisher. We always need new members, new ideas, fresh energy and therefore we would love you to join us.
Whether you want to be an active member in a range of events or just help out where you can then please complete the form below and we will ensure you are informed of any future meetings/events.
