Our school house system encourages students to push for the best in themselves and their classmates. As a member of a school house, the St John Fisher pupils learn to embrace challenges and work in collaboration with others to set and reach goals.

Each student and teacher is assigned to a school house. Students work together in their houses to compete in events such as Sports Day and Inter-House Sports day to earn points for their house. In the classrooms, teachers can award house points to students for  academic performance, and if they reach their quota of Golden points (6) for excellent behaviour, golden points can translated into house points. At the end of every week at Friday assembly, the points are tallied up and presented to the whole school assembly by the house captains or vice house captains.

These activities encourage teamwork and collaboration, and give students a sense of belonging in their school community.

At the end of each school year, the House Cup is awarded to the school house with the most points – a great point of pride for our students.
