St John Fisher PTFA news

Behind the scenes the PTFA at St John Fisher works incredibly hard, always finding exciting and fun ways to raise funds for the benefit of all our children.

For an annual fee of £5 (per number), you can enter the SJF School Lottery monthly draw. The draw takes place in the children’s assembly on the last Friday of each month. The prizes are £20 first prize and £10 second.

You can enter as many numbers as you wish and feel free to invite friends and family to have a go.

If you wish to join please see a member of our PTFA team.

Once again, the efforts of the PTFA have made a telling difference to our school.

The PTFA does two things:

It provides an opportunity for people to get together, make new friends and build and enrich the St John Fisher community. It also raises piles of money in the process: money, which is pumped straight back into the school.

Last year the PTFA put over £6000 back into the school. This paid for the annual pantomime trip for the whole school to enjoy, donations to each class to help cover the cost of the summertime trips, new football kit, gymnastics leotards, playground paint markings, nativity outfits, Christmas party food, leavers gifts, a fridge for the 4+ and a new PTFA BBQ.

WOW, what a lot we have achieved.

A huge thank you to everybody that helped, donated and attended the SJF Halloween Disco. A fantastic £745.49 was raised which will help to pay towards new equipment in the KS2 playground.
