2 TA’s required from 23rd August 2017 for a one year fixed term contract in the first instance

Working in Foundation 2 you will be working one-to-one with a pupil who has complex medical needs.  The successful candidates will ideally have prior experience of working one-to-one with a child with medical needs, with the skills to allow the child to take an active role in the school safely and with dignity.

Post 1 - You will undertake supervision of the Breakfast Club and be a Lunchtime Supervisor as part of this role.  Starting at 7.30am helping with our popular Breakfast club you will then move to working 1 to 1 with the pupil in Foundation until 11.30am when you will take your lunch break of 30 minutes.  You will then undertake a lunchtime supervision duty until 1.10pm.  25hours and 50 minutes per week, term time only plus 5 training days.  Actual salary for this post is £10,064 per annum.

Post 2 – You will start work at 11.30am working 1 – to 1 with the pupil in Foundation supporting them throughout the day including over the lunchtime period until 3.05pm. 17 hours and 55 minutes per week, term time only plus 5 training days. Actual salary for this post is £6,973 per annum.

Full time Premises Officer starting on

21st August 2017

Full time Premises Officer required to undertake the day to day responsibility for the cleaning, maintenance, security, health & safety and general administration of the School site, its grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment ensuring that the school operates efficiently and effectively.  The post holder will be expected to undertake both a morning and afternoon cleaning shift as part of this role.  Other roles include the opening and locking of the school premises and housekeeping duties including minor repairs.

You will be flexible, trustworthy and have a good eye for detail.  You will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and have a good sense of humour!

Local Government Conditions of Service apply and the post has a starting salary of £18, 070 rising with annual increments to £20,140.   The post is for 37 hours per week during term time working a split shift, Monday to Friday 7am – 11am then   2.30pm – 6pm (5.30pm on Friday).  During the school holidays the 37 hours per week can be worked as suits.  Holidays must be taken in school holiday times.

Starting date for this post is 21st August 2017 - however, we appreciate that some candidates may have booked holidays at this time and therefore we can be slightly flexible for the right candidate.
